It is Mother's Day in the UK and a day that would make Susan's late Mother very happy. Susan has split from the management duo in charge of her £10million fortune – ­healing a family feud which broke her heart.

Singing sensation Susan Boyle will give up her favorite chocolate and sweet treats for Lent as she lends her support to a fundraising campaign.

Fans of the performer are expected to turn out in Glasgow where Boyle will launch the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund's (Sciaf) Wee Box, Big Change project.

The campaign asks people to give up a treat for Lent and collect the cash savings in a box to donate to the charity, which helps impoverished people in developing countries. Read full story >>>

Susan Boyle and Peter Kay to sing a duet for Comic Relief

According to the UK tabloid "The Sun", Susan Boyle is to team up with British comic Peter Kay for a duet to help raise money for Comic Relief.

They have picked I Know Him So Well from the musical Chess.

Interestingly, this is the duet Susan sang with Elaine Paige back in December 2009. It was originally Elaine Paige who made the song famous singing a duet with Barbara Dickson, which still remains the biggest selling UK Chart single ever by a female duo.



Next week they will film a video for the downloadable track, which will be aired on Red Nose Day on March 18.

Usher has recently expressed his thoughts on who he thinks should join him on his upcoming UK tour. The RnB superstar has stated that as well as wanting Cheryl Cole to support him during his London shows, he would like Susan Boyle to join him for his Glasgow SECC concert.

Usher recently spoke to The Mirror about Cole. “I spent a little time with her in England last month at the X Factor. I’m sure she’s gonna make it in the States. She’s got it going on. I want Cheryl on stage for sure. It will be really nice, if she has time. She got moves.”

He went on to tell of his admiration for Britain’s Got Talent star, Susan Boyle, “I want Susan to open for me in Scotland. I saw her on YouTube, she can hit some notes – we’ll shock people.”

In a recent interview, England and Manchester United star football player Wayne Rooney , talked about listening to Susan Boyle during his pre-match routine.

Music forms an important part of that routine and Rooney describes how he wears his iPod because the favoured dressing-room music (R&B and reggae) differs from his own (Susan Boyle, with a love of Perry Como and Frankie Valli passed on by his grandfather).

"Susan Boyle, yes – I like to relax before a game," Rooney said. "Her voice is amazing. I get a massage while listening to it."
